Learning MATTERS Intervention Teaching (LMIT) Certification Ministry-Funded Terms and Conditions

It is understood that it is the responsibility and expense of the attendee/school to organise and cover related expenses for the 5-day face to face learning and to have suitable internet access for online modules, e.g. travel costs, reliever costs, accommodation costs.
To receive the MoE funding for this PLD, I acknowledge that my school receives the 0 – 2 Structured Literacy Acceleration (SLA) Funding.
In the event of a national or international pandemic or weather event, and should travel be restricted or schools close, the planned 5-day face to face will continue remotely.
The face-to-face PLD may switch to online delivery or a different location if the minimum requirement of 40 participants is not reached or if a facilitator is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness.
The MoE requires attendance at all PLD sessions. Learning MATTERS is required to monitor and escalate attendance issues to the MoE. Attendance issues could result in school funding being removed by the MoE.
The MoE requires Learning MATTERS to collect and submit impact assessment data in accordance with the MoE’s assessment requirements. You agree to provide Learning MATTERS with this data as part of the PLD.
It is understood that the MoE funding is for 1 teacher per school and that the school will only sign up with one chosen provider.
To achieve the Learning MATTERS Intervention Certification, attendees understand that they are required to:
attend the five full days of PLD in person (9am to 3pm)
complete the online modules
provide 3 videos of the attendee teaching intervention sessions and then engage in the follow-up coaching sessions
Attend all COP’s sessions
Complete a case study at the completion of the course to document a learner’s response to intervention.
Any dietary requirements not advised will not be catered for.
