Learning MATTERS Consultancy Position

We are looking for an educator who has experience in Structured Literacy implementation to join our consultancy team.
The position is located in the following regions
Hawkes Bay/Gisborne or Manawatu Region
Core functions of this role will be delivering the ‘’How to” in Structured Literacy using the iDeaL Approach.
Some national travel will be required.
This is a fulltime salaried position.

You will be responsible for:
Providing quality facilitation to primary, intermediate and/or secondary schools to assist them to develop cohesive and consistent practices in varied settings
Delivering professional learning through the iDeaL consultancy process to schools and school leaders
Working alongside school leaders to build quality assessment processes and to review and refine local curriculum
Modelling, coaching and supporting teachers with the implementation of the iDeaL Approach to Structured Literacy both onsite and online
Building capacity in knowledge, leadership practise in relationship to current learning practises
Working with the consultancy team in designing and developing online and face to face professional learning modules and webinars
Working with the consultancy team to further enhance and develop the iDeaL Online Platform.
Qualities and Qualifications:
Training in an evidence-based literacy approach (MSL, LETRS, OG), preferrable or a willingness to train
Knowledge and teaching experience using the iDeaL Approach preferred
School Leadership experience preferred or a willingness to learn leadership skills
Coaching and mentoring experience preferred
Engaging facilitation ability
Quality communication skills
Problem solver
Relationship builder
Superior tech skills with both the Microsoft Suite and Google programmes
Outstanding organisation skills
Avid learner
Team player
Proactive
Diligent
Full training and support provided through a comprehensive induction process.
